Program Description:
The Fund provides assistance to adoptive parents, foster parents, kinship caregivers, and parents who themselves were formerly in foster care to meet short-term needs. This assistance is meant to help families bridge periods of financial instability, allowing them to focus on creating a stable, permanent home for the children in their care.
Program Requirements:
Recipients must be: 1. a) Adoptive parent of a minor child, or b) Foster parent, or Kinship caregiver – nonparent relative caring for a minor child whether as part of the county agency system or informally), or d) Parent who were themselves formally in foster care. AND 2. A U.S. citizen or qualified alien and a resident of Cuyahoga County. AND 3. Living with at least one minor child, pregnant, or the non-custodial parent of a child. AND 4. The family’s monthly income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level guidelines, including liquid assets.

Program Description:
Neighborhood Navigation Services helps connect pregnant mothers to the resources they need/desire to help them and their unborn baby be healthy. Neighborhood Navigators are trained paraprofessionals who are passionate and committed to the health and wellness of their neighbors. Each participant is assigned to a neighborhood navigator who identifies their needs such as but not limited to transportation, employment, baby items, social supports, etc. and links them to the appropriate resource, agency and/or provider.
Program Requirements:
Expecting mothers, Mothers with babies up to the age of one, Women of child-bearing age.

Making Opportunities Matter (MOM) — Research- based tailored for individuals who are pregnant or up to 11 months postpartum. It aims to educate and support clients throughout their perinatal journey, focusing on reducing toxic stress and overcoming barriers that can lead to negative birth outcomes. The curriculum is delivered through a group-based client-centered model of care.
Program Requirements:
Pregnant or 11 months postpartum and reside in Cuyahoga County
