Starting Point’s Parent & Youth Ambassadors (PYAs) are here to help families across Ohio connect with essential services, benefits, and resources. PYAs are trusted guides who provide free, personalized support to families with children and youth from birth to 21 years old, offering assistance in ways that best fit each family’s needs. Whether you need help finding child care, housing assistance, food programs, or other services, our PYAs are ready to walk alongside you.

Parents/Caregivers: Pregnant or with a child from birth – age 21.

Program Description:
Providence House provides emergency shelter and support to families in crisis who have children birth through 12 years old. We operate a crisis nursery that can serve up to 20 children in Ohio City for 24 hours up to 90 days for free. Providence House offers a community referral program for partner agencies to submit referrals for baby items once monthly to be filled as items are available directly to community social workers, community health workers, and other home visitors.

Program Description:
Broken Connections, Inc. (BCI) is a tax exempt, community-based, not-for-profit organization located in East Cleveland, Ohio. Established in April 1996 BCI is a twelve bed residential facility that provides emergency housing and supportive services for runaway, homeless and street youth between the ages of 10-17 through its Basic Center Program (BCP).
