Parents as Teachers

Program Description:
Parents as Teachers is a free, voluntary program that supports families from pregnancy through kindergarten entry. The program equips parents and caregivers with knowledge, tools, and confidence to support their child’s health, development, and learning—right from the start. All services are provided in the home or virtually, and each family is paired with a trained Parent Educator. These professionals offer guidance on parenting challenges like sleep, routines, behavior, and potty training. They also bring age-appropriate activities and materials to help children grow and learn, conduct developmental screenings, and help identify potential concerns early on. Parent Educators also connect families with local resources and help children transition successfully into high-quality preschool or kindergarten programs. The goal is to reduce family stress, improve school readiness, and support long-term success. To learn more or enroll, call (216) 698-7500 or click above for more information.
