Cuyahoga Parents Connect is an online community designed to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for parents and caregivers in Cuyahoga County. The group offers a supportive forum where members can share parenting experiences, ask for advice, exchange helpful resources, and celebrate the ups and downs of raising children. Whether a parent is navigating pregnancy, handling toddler challenges, or preparing a child for kindergarten, Cuyahoga Parenets Connect serves as a go-to space for connection, encouragement, and trusted information.

Program Requirements:
Parents and caregivers of children aged birth to kindergarten – and parents who are expecting – living in Cuyahoga County

Father’s Feelings Project (Ohio Guidestone)

Program Description:
Our Father’s Feelings Project encourages dads to express their thoughts and emotions about being a parent. We are all ears, dads! At the Institute, we understand the significance of father-child relationships in child development. Welcoming a new baby can be both exciting and overwhelming for fathers. Even if it isn’t your first time, each child brings their own unique joys and challenges. Dads play a vital role in their children’s lives, and we are dedicated to supporting them on this rewarding journey. Who better to enhance resources for dads than dads themselves? This is why we developed the Father’s Feelings Project. Join us today or send a dad you know and love our way!

Program Requirements:
Be a male father Have a child 12 months old or younger Be an Ohio resident (sometimes the project focuses on a specific area such as Cuyahoga County) Be 18 or older (can be 16 with parental consent)

Fatherhood Resources

Program Description:
Fatherhood Resources offers personalized guidance to help fathers navigate the unique roles and challenges they may face. Our services are designed to fit your schedule and cover topics such as: Understanding your child’s development and behavior Supporting your child’s education and school success Finding age-appropriate and affordable activities to enjoy with your children Effective discipline strategies Co-parenting and managing family dynamics Accessing community resources, books, and toys Participating in child-focused events and connecting with other dads Learning proven parenting tips and strategies Let us support you in building strong, positive relationships with your children while enhancing your confidence as a parent.

Program Requirements:
This program is available to parents and caregivers of children from birth to 12 years old living in Cuyahoga County.

Neighborhood Leadership Institute Healthy Communities

Program Description:
Neighborhood Navigation Services helps connect pregnant mothers to the resources they need/desire to help them and their unborn baby be healthy. Neighborhood Navigators are trained paraprofessionals who are passionate and committed to the health and wellness of their neighbors. Each participant is assigned to a neighborhood navigator who identifies their needs such as but not limited to transportation, employment, baby items, social supports, etc. and links them to the appropriate resource, agency and/or provider.

Program Requirements:
Expecting mothers, Mothers with babies up to the age of one, Women of child-bearing age.

Hours of Operation:
Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm
Friday 9:00am-3:30pm

Passages Connecting Fathers and Families

Program Description:
Fatherhood programming: This includes evidence based fatherhood programming, case management services to address things such as child support and parenting time navigation among other needs, and employment/job readiness services. Programs are available during the day or evening.

Program Requirements:
Fathers and father figures with children aged 24 and under who reside in Cuyahoga, Lake, Lorain, or Portage County.

Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday 8am-3pm
