Program Description:
The Fund provides assistance to adoptive parents, foster parents, kinship caregivers, and parents who themselves were formerly in foster care to meet short-term needs. This assistance is meant to help families bridge periods of financial instability, allowing them to focus on creating a stable, permanent home for the children in their care.
Program Requirements:
Recipients must be: 1. a) Adoptive parent of a minor child, or b) Foster parent, or Kinship caregiver – nonparent relative caring for a minor child whether as part of the county agency system or informally), or d) Parent who were themselves formally in foster care. AND 2. A U.S. citizen or qualified alien and a resident of Cuyahoga County. AND 3. Living with at least one minor child, pregnant, or the non-custodial parent of a child. AND 4. The family’s monthly income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level guidelines, including liquid assets.

We share valuable resources, provide hands-on support during labor and delivery, and help women develop their birth preferences. Additionally, we encourage women to become strong self-advocates when working with healthcare providers, ensuring they feel heard and empowered throughout their journey. We strive to help families experience a safe, healthy, and positive labor journey by offering guidance and support every step of the way.

Program Description:
Early Intervention supports families of children birth to age 3 who have developmental delays or disabilities so they have the best possible start in life. Professionals help identify a child’s strengths and needs, addressing concerns as early as possible. Services are provided where families live, play, and spend their day. There is no need to “wait and see.” Concerned about a child’s development? Act early!
Program Requirements:
Early Intervention is available in every part of the state and to any eligible child, regardless of the family’s income.

Intake hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
