Womankind Prenatal and Maternal Care Center

Program Description:
Since 1975, Womankind walks with women along the journey of pregnancy and beyond by providing free prenatal care, personal support, and social services in a caring and non-judgmental environment.

Program Requirements:
No health insurance is required for free prenatal care. Babies must be not have reached their 2nd birthday to be eligible for baby supplies. We can serve anyone – we are not restricted by county or legal status.

Hours of Operation:
Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Saturday – Sunday: CLOSED

Honey from the Rock (The Cleveland Foster Care Closet)

Program Description:
We provide quality items for daily living for free to children of all ages who are experiencing foster care. We offer in store “shopping” or custom curbside care package pick up by appointment only.

Program Requirements:
We serve foster, kinship, recently reunified biological families (6 months post reunification), youth in the Bridges program, Safe Families for Children Cleveland host families, and families who have adopted from foster care (within 6 months of adoption). Case worker information required for an appointment.

Wednesday 6-8pm and Sunday 11-1

Greater Cleveland Food Bank

Program Description:
Our Community Resource Center is a hub of services for everyone! We offer a fresh food market along with supports from partner organizations including MetroHealth, Shoes and Clothes for Kids, Diaper Bank of Greater Cleveland, Digital C, College Now, Cuyahoga Community College, Ohio Means Jobs, CHN Housing Partners, Benjamin Rose, Towards Employment, United Way of Greater Cleveland, MAGNET, Family Connections and Cuyahoga County Dept. of Health and Human Services

Providence House

Program Description:
Providence House provides emergency shelter and support to families in crisis who have children birth through 12 years old. We operate a crisis nursery that can serve up to 20 children in Ohio City for 24 hours up to 90 days for free. Providence House offers a community referral program for partner agencies to submit referrals for baby items once monthly to be filled as items are available directly to community social workers, community health workers, and other home visitors.

Have custody of children birth to 12 years old

Neighborhood Leadership Institute Healthy Communities

Program Description:
Neighborhood Navigation Services helps connect pregnant mothers to the resources they need/desire to help them and their unborn baby be healthy. Neighborhood Navigators are trained paraprofessionals who are passionate and committed to the health and wellness of their neighbors. Each participant is assigned to a neighborhood navigator who identifies their needs such as but not limited to transportation, employment, baby items, social supports, etc. and links them to the appropriate resource, agency and/or provider.

Program Requirements:
Expecting mothers, Mothers with babies up to the age of one, Women of child-bearing age.
