Event + Conference Sponsorships
First Year Cleveland is committed to supporting community-based organizations to raise funds and awareness and to celebrate milestones. First Year Cleveland offers fundraising + friend-raising events and conference sponsorships of up to $2,500 to eligible, local non-profit organizations committed to maternal/child health and reducing infant mortality in Cuyahoga County.
Bi-Annual Mini-Grants
FYC anticipates making approximately 10-15 awards in the range of $2,500 to $5,000 each March and September. Funds will be invested in community nonprofit organizations in Cuyahoga County with preference given to programs and services serving zip codes with the highest Black infant mortality rates. Funding is intended to support the immediate needs of pregnant and parenting families. Applications open on February 1st and August 1st.
