How to Lower Your Baby’s Risk
Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding lowers the risk of sleep-related deaths. The longer you breastfeed, the safer it is for your baby. It also has other health benefits.
Smoking Cessation
Babies who breathe in smoke have more trouble with their lungs and face higher risks. Smoke can hurt your baby’s lungs and brain. It makes sleep much more dangerous.
