Community Advisory Committee

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) includes healthcare professionals and families impacted by infant loss and who are experts in their communities. The CAC informs First Year Cleveland’s strategic priorities and is represented on the Steering Committee.

Policy Committee

The Policy Committee drives First Year Cleveland’s advocay work. With support from CapSquare Advisors, the Policy Committee determines local and statewide policy initiatives, partnerships, and resourcing, including Infant Vitality Advocacy Day. Members represent community-based organizations, healthcare systems, philanthropy, and advocacy organizations.

Healthcare Committee

First Year Cleveland convenes healthcare providers and administrators to determine systems-level interventions driven by community expertise and data. The Healthcare Committee also serves as a learning collaborative for providers to determine an implement care across systems and in coordination with FYC’s Partners for Change project, funded by the Ohio Department of Children & Youth.
