Program Description:
The Maternal Vitality Study asks Black women to help create a research-based screening and intervention protocol for maternal depression during and after pregnancy, as well as other factors that impact Black women’s health and wellness. The study co-creates with Black women who have been pregnant within the last year -and- Black women mental health professionals who serve mothers and families, to identify solutions for Black women to empower them with strategies to boost their overall health and wellness for themselves and their families. We want more than survival- we want vitality!

Program Requirements:
Perinatal (been pregnant within the last 12 months, regardless of how pregnancy ended or was terminated). Assigned female at birth (female sex). Identify as Black/African American. Currently residing in Ohio (sometimes the project focuses on a specific area such as Cuyahoga County) At least 16 years old.

Hours of Operation:
Monday-Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm
