Review Cuyahoga County infant mortality reports
The Cuyahoga County Board of Health issues a monthly Infant Mortality and Birth Outcome report which includes data that informs our work. A comprehensive annual Child Fatality Report is also issued in the fall of each year which provides a broad look at causes of death of children less than 18 years old who lived in Cuyahoga County. Participate in ongoing training on bias and respectful care.
As a clinician, it is your responsibility to understand your patients and provide them with information and resources to achieve optimal health. Understanding the impact of racism on health makes a difference in how you provide care and could save the life of your patient.
